Antenatal (ANC) Clinic
Antenatal Clinic (General): This is managed by qualified Midwives and a Medical Officer to whom mothers are referred in case for further management/ opinion. It operates Monday to Friday (8:30 – 4:00p.m.) and Saturday (8:30a.m. to 1:00 p.m.). Mothers are given a free choice to switch from general and private services.
Antenatal Clinic (Private): This runs on Tuesday and Thursday (8:30 – 4:00p.m.) and it is managed by two Gynaecologists together with the Midwives. This clinic is also pen for general clients who require specialized services of an Obstetrician but must be referred by the medical Officer.
Antenatal Classes: These happen every fortnight and it must be either a Wednesday or Thursday. In these classes, a good number of topics is handled alternatively and mothers don’t have to pay for this service. It is spearheaded by the clinical team attached to the MCH department. This session is very beneficial to mothers because it helps to answer a number of questions and to allay their anxieties as caused by propaganda.
