THE ACT PROJECT

Kisubi Hospital ACT project is funded by CDC through Uganda Episcopal Conference (UCMB-ACT) and since October 2012 (COP 14) as earlier relayed, they have been supporting HIV/AIDS services in the following thematic areas: HVCT-HIV counseling and Testing, HBHCAdult Care and support; HTXSAdult ARV services; PDCSPediatric care and Support; PDTXPediatric ARV services;; HVTBHIV and TB collaboration; HLAB- Laboratory Services; CIRC- Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision, MTCT- elimination of mother to child transmission; and HVOPKey Populations and Priority populations.

Other cross cutting services under ACT Project include Gender Based Violence, Supply chain management, community support services, positive health dignity and prevention, quality management, Monitoring and Evaluation are support services that complement the HIV services.
